Sunny Ridge Rehabilitation Center Activity Room MuralThis mural was part of my Internship project to bring light into the dementia unit at Sunny Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Sheboygan, WI. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life. I thought that this would be a good fit for the residents in the dementia unit as they battle with dementia living through changes of their mind by striving to live their lives with hopeful endurance.

Peter's Pantry MuralThis mural was a project for my Painting 1 class for Peter's Pantry in Mantiowoc, WI. While touring the pantry we were told by the manager that banana boxes played a key role in storing food and moving food around the pantry. This mural was inspired by a design found on the banana boxes that were found in the pantry. The hands were an image from a Del Monte Banana box and the sun was from a Dole box. Images were collaged together to help bring a collective message of hope to the people that would visit the pantry.
